The Foothills Amateur Radio club meets on the 1st Saturday of each month*, starting at 8:00 A.M. at Cagney's Kitchen in Wilkesboro.
The meeting (with breakfast!) usually lasts from 1 to 2 hours.

*There are 4 exceptions in 2023 to our meeting times. Our July, September, October and December meetings have different dates. Please see the "FARC Club Meeting Exceptions" section below for a full listing.
Our gathering at Field Day (Saturday, June 24, 2023) will serve as our July meeting - there will be no meeting on July 1st, 2023.
Due to our attendance at the Shelby Hamfest on Saturday, September 2nd 2023, our September club meeting will be on September 9th.
The October 2023 club meeting will be held on Saturday, October 14th; the club will have a booth at the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival on Saturday, October 7th. In addition to attending the meeting, feel free to stop by our booth at the festival. We will also be in need of volunteers to help man the booth, so save the date!
The 2023 Club Christmas Dinner is tentatively planned for either Friday, December 8th OR Saturday, December 9th 2023, it will start at 6:00PM. It will tentatively be held at the Brushy Mountain Smokehouse in North Wilkesboro. This is in lieu of our regularly scheduled December meeting; there will NOT be a meeting on December 2nd. Please bring a gift for participation in the Right Family Christmas - men please bring a gift for men, women please bring a gift for women. ($20 limit please.)
The FARC Club Annual Meeting as defined in Article XI of the Club By-Laws is the regularly scheduled November meeting, with an alternate of our January meeting. This meeting shall be held for the election of officers and directors for the following year and the transaction of any other business which may regularly come before the Club. This notice shall satisfy the 15 day notice requirement as set forth in Article XI of the Club By-Laws. In addition, the club will send out an email reminder to our registered website users, usually with a minimum of 24 hours notice, of which meeting will have the election of officers.
